  FREE GUIDED WALKS - The Brisbane Botanic Gardens’ Volunteer Guides offer FREE guided walking tours of the City Botanic Gardens and the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Walks are available daily at 11am and 1pm (except Sunday and public holidays). BOOKINGS are NOT required for these walks but bookings can be made for large groups or groups with a special interest by calling (07) 3403 2535 (Mt Coot-tha) or (07) 3403 0666 (City).
FREE MINI-BUS TOURS - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Mondays and Thursdays. Enjoy a relaxing and informative tour featuring the Temperate Zone, Exotic Rainforest, Australian Plant Communities and Gardens highlights. Recorded commentary by Curator, Ross McKinnon. Toowoomba Gardenfest 2013. Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE, Campbell Street, Toowoomba. The first event on the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers calendar, Gardenfest will have Plant Sales, Gardening Tools, Guest Speaker, Plant Clinic to solve all your gardening problems, Cooking demonstrations, Entertainment, Childrens corner and displays from a large number of Plant Societies and Art Groups. Open Friday and Sat 8.30am-4.30pm and Sunday 9am-3pm. Entry $13.50 Children under 12 free accompanied by an adult, full-time students, concession and Senior card holders $8. Events include a Judged Show, Potting demonstrations, display plants and plants and accessories for sale. Open Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 9am-3pm. Admission $3. Free parking at venue.
